Client and Family Feedback
My name is Danny and I have been a client of Caring Hearts since October 2016.
In October 2023 I went on respite to Jubilee Lodge in Essex. As I had had a bad experience when I went on respite back in 2018, I lost trust in people dealing with me when it came to personal care and I was very nervous and anxious about going on respite ever again.
I asked the Manager, Becky, if there was any chance one of the Carers could come with me. This was arranged and Tina came with me.
Tina has come in to look after me in the evenings sometimes when my parents have had an evening out and we get on really well. As she only comes in on occasion to get me showered and dressed in the mornings, and not a regular she came in more frequently before we went away so as to learn about how I liked things done, what I didn’t like, how to position me back in my wheelchair etc., and discussed how I liked to be layed in bed and all my little routines. This I thought was brilliant and felt very much less anxious about my holiday.
Whilst up in Jubilee Lodge Tina instructed the other staff from the Lodge, who assisted her, how I liked my morning shower, teeth cleaning, getting dressed etc., and positioning in my wheelchair properly and although she was also always with me when I needed and personal care done she would always make sure I was placed back in my wheelchair correctly and safely. Tina also helped me with feeding and drinking.
We had great fun together all week and she got me out of my comfort zone on more than one occasion eg., they had some people come in with a snake and creepy crawlies which I would normally have taken myself away from and I even touched the snake and had a slow worm put on my arm. It was only with Tina’s gently persuasion I did it. They also have horses stabled next to the Lodge and she took me down to see them, something else I would not have done if not for her.
Tina helped me so much during the time we were together not only with the everyday personal care routine but helping me with relaxation techniques and giving me a new found confidence to start a relationship with one of the young ladies that was a guest and we are still together now.
My parents couldn’t believe the difference in me in just the 4 days we were there and now thanks to Tina I have booked two more holidays which I will be going to by myself with a renewed confidence and trust that I had lost and that’s all down to her and for which I and my parents are so grateful to her for.

Review From Jayne – May, 2025
I would have no hesitation in recommending Caring Heart Carers for the care and support for your loved one(s).
The Agency were first recommended to us in 2018 when my mother-in-law needed extra support for her advanced dementia and they continue to provide care for my father-in-law who now has dementia
An established professional family run agency, managed by Tina and Becky have consistently demonstrated their leadership qualities and communication skills that they pass down to their dedicated carers. They have a lovely hands-on approach and can be relied upon to step-in if the need arises.
Their adherence to health and social care protocols is unquestionable. This was particularly evident during the pandemic when family members had to limit their visits and rely on the daily care provided by the Carers during this very challenging period.
From the onset all Carers attending to my mother-in-law and now for my father-in-law have always demonstrated unwavering compassion and respect. They possess the necessary skills and experience required to meet the ongoing changes and challenges associated with dementia. They are friendly and take time to chat with my father-in-law during visits. If they have any concerns, they bring them to my attention directly or via Becky or Tina. Like Tina and Becky, their Carers genuinely care about my father-in-law’s physical and mental well-being and suggest strategies to help him continue living at home. Becky and Tina make every effort to arrange care visits by the same Carer(s) to ensure continuity of care and to establish a bond between the Carer, Client and the Clients family. I can honestly say this has been achieved since we were first introduced in 2018. In particular we would like to mention Teresa, Tanya, Sophie and Michelle for their continued commitment and dedicated support. However, all their Carers have our utmost respect and show the same high standard of care, empathy and dedication.
My Daughter V has been cared for by Caring Hearts for a number of years now
she has a rare complex degenerative neurological condition which has given her many challenges along the way.
When she first received care from caring hearts, she was living fully independently and just required assistance to get her safely into the swimming pool an activity she has always loved.
Her condition has deteriorated over the years, and she is now a full time wheelchair user, with an indwelling supra-pubic catheter and is no longer able to transfer without the use of a stand aid. Her condition now affects all of her abilities and as such she now has a comprehensive care package.
Caring Hearts have been very supportive and flexible in assisting with meeting her changing care needs and importantly for V have been able to continue to provide assistance for her to continue to go swimming and to attend the gym. Katie who supports V in the swimming pool has also worked with V in the gym to get the most out of the gym equipment to enable her to maintain her fitness. This has been great for V not only in maintaining her physical health but helping to support her mental health.
Many of V’s carers have known her for a number of years and it’s good to witness the good relationships that have developed over time.
Hi Becky.
Definitely want to help you with this , your care company are wonderful.
Sharon would like To say :-
That she has never been with a care company like caring hearts! The carers are all so kind and everyone goes that extra mile for me.
They are all very helpful, kind and NOTHING is too much bother.
The carers are so patient with me. And I feel very safe and secure with them.
I would like to add:-
Your carers are so helpful with Sharon and help with more than her care, if she needs help with making phone calls or put some washing on if they have time and lots of other little things that are very helpful.
Your care company are very flexible with Sharon’s changing care requirements and immediately put in place any extra care calls as Sharon’s mobility and
health deteriorates..
We can’t thank your company and staff enough for all you do.
You are really ALL caring hearts
Good afternoon Becky,
When it became obvious nearly 4 years ago that I needed daily personal on account of my poor balance and increasing back pain, I had no hesitation in
turning to Caring Heart Carers Ltd.
Their carers had taken exceptional care of my husband for over 3 years until his death, at home as he had wished. They also treated all the family members
with whom they came into contact in a courteous and friendly manner.
Their carers are fastidious in the care which they give, none more so than during Covid ,I cannot praise them and the care which they give too highly.
Kind regards, Mary
Hi Becky
More than happy to put my name on the review.
Customer Feedback: (sorry it’s more than 2 paragraphs)
As most families probably do, we found ourselves in a situation of caring for two elderly parents, and at the time I approached Caring Hearts, it was Mum which had a confirmed diagnosis of Lewys Body Dementia and Dad was awaiting assessments.
Finally giving in and realising we needed help and knowing Mum & Dad needed more than we could give with working full-time, was a difficult thing to come to terms with.
We want the best for our loved ones and it’s hard to make that decision on the best care you want for them when you’ve never had to do it before. It’s a scary situation to be in.
Caring Hearts were recommended to me and from the first meeting, meeting Becky, I knew we were making the right decision as she led me through the process explaining and advising on what they could provide and instantly reassured me. I felt I could trust her straight away and more importantly Mum & Dad, who had been initially been against carers, moving to some acceptance, were now in this first meeting, comfortable, chatting and both were smiling!
Over time the care needs have changed and Caring Hearts have adapted plans and reacted to Mum and Dads needs quickly. They always contact us with any queries or concerns; providing me and my family with reassurance and peace of mind which you cannot put a price on!
Mum & Dad enjoy all the visits from a small number of carers who provide their care and they all bring something different. Mum and Dad talk about a bubbly young girl called Sophie and it’s great to hear them talking about their days out with me and recommending places to her; showing they’ve build that relationship up very quickly.
Mum talks about Kelly & Tanya helping her with personal care and in Mum’s words ‘I thought I wouldn’t like it but I didn’t worry about it at all, they’re so nice and I don’t feel embarrassed like I thought I would’.
She tells us about chats with Victoria and they love the company as it breaks up their otherwise long day. Mum’s enjoyed pancake making and visits out with Becky; saying she’s such a lovely girl!
Mum often talks about Tina and their time spent doing jigsaws and visits to the garden centre. Mum says Tina is always happy and that happiness definitely rubs off on Mum. Mum looks forward to her visits.
With dementia they say although they may not remember everything to recall to someone, they remember the feeling they had. Well, the feeling Caring Hearts staff leave with my Mum is definitely one of happiness. They brighten up her world.
Although Dad won’t admit to needing care himself, the carers provide him with some support to help with Mum and definitely brighten up his day with conversations and have improved his wellbeing.
Mum & Dad have said it’s now beginning to feel like an extended family. I, as their daughter couldn’t ask for anything more and would highly recommend Caring Hearts. They certainly live up to their name!
They are professional and I know I can trust them to provide my parents care and rely on them to keep me informed and have helped in situations providing recommendations based on their knowledge and experience.
Thank you!
